Commander Precon League Feedback

• Good price, could have even been more expensive for better pricing
• Was a good timing, was hard to start on time exactly on account of people arriving "on time" as opposed to being ready to start
• Matchmaking
  1. Some tables has significant scales in skill level
  2. Played with same people
  3. Elo Hell, 3 player games sucked bad
  4. Being in 3's isn't great,
  5. Was quite fair most weeks
• Shaking matchups could be better
• Was sorted this way to try prevent
• There was a system gibbi considered implementing which is: certain things get negative points
  • decided against this because it felt punishing
  • but eg: killing everyone in one turn, taking more than n turns would get negative points to dissuade against building combo etc
  • gibbi wanted things to be fair and equal so didn't implement what could be a negative pet peeves list
• most people liked the points system
  1. good
  2. challenges seemed difficult - points not high enough for them
  3. monarch too easy and gets too many points, catchup mechanic for points might be nice?
  4. maybe separating points? idk bro sounds like a lot of work
  5. challenges weren't really important point-wise for a lot of games
     • Oscar: in the 5 games I saw 2 challenges get completed, and it was one person in the same game
     • Connor: Winning and killing can move you up, challenges are for extra prizes.
     • Could definitely seperate them next time
     • negative points aren't fun so we won't include them

Pokémon Potential League

• Was originally Jon's Idea that he gifted unto me
• Interest in pokemon has peaked in the clubroom once more
• A league has been suggested, possibly not a great idea yet. Emphasis on the yet
• Maybe something like SNOM?
• People were organising things so there is definite interest in the format
